Use this checklist when your Google Pixel shows a travel eSIM but mobile data is slow, stuck, or not loading.
01
Start by making sure Google Pixel is using the ZEN travel eSIM for mobile data, then set the Google Pixel APN to data00.telnyx.
02
Data roaming must be set from the Google Pixel settings path for the travel eSIM, not from the primary SIM settings.
03
Automatic network selection can stick to a weak roaming partner. Manual selection forces the phone to try a different local carrier.
04
Restarting reloads the SIM profile, roaming state, and selected network after the settings are correct.
05
A travel eSIM can only attach where the selected plan has coverage. Regional plans still have country lists, and border areas can briefly connect to the wrong network.
06
VPNs, private DNS, parental controls, and some security apps can block the first connection test. Disable them briefly, retest data, then turn back on only the tools you need.
